On April 11-12, Rothschild Mill employees participated in the Northcentral Technical College (NTC) STEM Fest.
The first day featured more than 3,000 sixth and seventh graders from around Marathon County, while more than 1,500 community members joined in on day two. The popular event allowed students and community members to participate in hands-on science activities.

The STEM roadshow is hosted at NTC by volunteers and the Michigan Tech Mind Trekkers team, which consists of undergraduate and graduate students. Mind Trekkers guided attendees through fun, hands-on experiments.
Domtar volunteers shared their love of papermaking through the mill’s papermaking exhibit, allowing students to make their own sheet of paper.
