Seven volunteers from Domtar’s Connectors program took advantage of the warm fall weather on Nov. 4 to complete their final Adopt-A-Highway cleanup of the year. The group spent a beautiful afternoon giving back to the environment.
The volunteers collected typical debris along their adopted stretch of highway, reinforcing a call for public responsibility.
“When you are out and about in the great outdoors, please remember to pick up after yourself,” a representative said. “In this case, your trash is not someone else’s treasure.”
Domtar extends its thanks to the following volunteers: Troy DeLaet, Travis Henke, Ginny Johnson, Joe Kies, Theran Plummer, Bob Spring and Jon Tschudy.
