This summer, six organizations serving communities surrounding Domtar’s Wisconsin operations received support through the company’s $2K Your Way program.
Employees at the Rothschild and Nekoosa mills nominated organizations addressing a range of educational, environmental and community needs. Domtar awarded $2,000 grants to six organizations, including:
- Alternate Housing of Hope
- Ice Age Trail Alliance
- Immanuel Lutheran School’s Kindness Club
- Jolene’s Angels
- Lester Public Library of Vesper
- Nekoosa Fire Department

Domtar Rothschild Mill Manager Dave Faucett said seeing the grants go to these hardworking organizations was meaningful for Domtar employees.
“Giving back to the communities where we live and work is a key objective for Domtar,” Faucett said. “The $2K Your Way program is a rewarding way to bring this objective to life.”

Across its facilities, Domtar awarded $2,000 grants to 75 organizations selected by employees, representing a total investment of $150,000. Employees are encouraged to participate by identifying causes that are important to them and using company resources to support organizations making a difference in their communities.
The $2K Your Way program is an important part of Domtar’s community investment efforts across its North American operations. The company is proud to have seen the program grow from $1,000 grants at its inception to $2,000 grants starting in 2023.
